Lee Abbey is a Christian retreat centre set in spectacular scenery on the coast of North Devon. The centre offers courses, conferences and holidays where people can explore different topics and relax in beautiful surroundings.
In May 2025, I’ll be leading a writing weekend at Lee Abbey with the theme ‘Created to Create’. It’s a familiar feeling to be daunted by a blank page, or to feel like you’ve got no creative ideas. But, according to the Biblical tradition, only God creates everything from nothing. Thankfully, we don’t have to try and create something out of nothing! Over the weekend, we’ll use all sorts of games, prompts and exercises to find creative inspiration in the raw material of everyday life.
